I am having issues as I get a Sensor Failure alert on my Nest Protect. It is only about 2 yrs old and I do not live in a dusty environment and it is not near steam. This should not fail this short into owning this.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. What type of Nest Protect do you have? What's the status light of it? Could you try running a Safety Checkup on your device?

Well I spoke with best and they said there was nothing to be done and it was out of warranty. I think pretty poor value. Not even two years old.
