Does anyone know if the Nest protect is capable of doing a persistent audible continuous push notification for a smoke alarm that keeps sounding audibly on your smartphone until you acknowledge it?
From what I can tell it only does one and that's it. This is really bad for me because I live in NYC and with the noise and traffic there is a very high chance of me missing it. Which is really bad if it's my house burning down.
additionally I have some vacant apartment buildings that I want to put the protects in and one notification in middle of the night will not wake me up.

Hey there JaxGarrytt,
I'm so sorry for the late response but I wanted to hop in here to make sure your concern was addressed.
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to keep the push notifications consistently sounding or pinging, but that is a good idea and I'm happy to pass this feedback forward. We are constantly looking for new ways to improve our products so thank you for giving us the idea.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Garrett DS
