We are using Nest and down stairs air unit is not cooling house to desired set temp on Nest. After some trouble shooting seems like the breaker keeps tripping. New filter. When breaker is on it’s running outside and blowing hot anir out of the unit. When breaker trips the unit stops. Apparently my tan has just been running instead for a few days, thus why it cannot reach desired temp. Any idea what ever could be causing this? Or what is my next step?

This has nothing to do with nest you have a part failure of sort on the outside unit that needs to be checked out with a qualified AC tech good luck

If your circuit breaker is tripping, you are exceeding the rated current or your breaker is faulty. If your outdoor unit is running with your indoor unit, feel copper pipes entering your air handler. The small one should be very hot and the large one in foam should be “beer can” cold. If not, you have a leak in your system and need have it repaired.
