The R and C bring power to the thermostat.  The E1 and E2 are RS485 data signaling wires.  In other words a proprietary digital communicating thermostat.  If you have a model RA17, RP17, RP20, or RA20 series condensing units, you can switch to conventional 24VAC control wiring.

The R a 16 outdoor condensing unit is not an Econet control system. In fact, it uses the conventional HVAC control system. This means that your indoor unit, the air handler, may have an eco-net control board with the conventional control module added to it. It’ll be located on the right hand side of the eco-net control board on the air handler. It will have a connector with wires, that will be red yellow white green and blue typically. In order to use a nest thermostat you will need to have a thermostat cable that has at least five conductor wires in it.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. I just want to check if you were able to try the suggestion steps  above? How's your Nest Thermostat?

I appreciate your help, @CoolingWizard

Unable to use it, not sure how the wiring should be and I don’t want to pay somebody to wire it. Just need the knowledge. I hooked up my other thermostat.
