Enter the key on the thermostats but there is no option

I am trying to install the thermostat E on my nest app on my iPhone. The QR code never works for me. So, I  chose  to enter the key. But when the app asked me to choose the number on the thermostat, there is no option for me to choose. I have checked the community and it looks like many people have the same issue but never got resolved? 

please help.

Is the thermostat already setup and shows in the Nest app on someone else's phone or are you trying to do the first time setup?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. Were you able to try uninstalling and reinstalling your Nest app? You can also try to use a different mobile phone to isolate the issue further.
