My nest temperature sensor went off line. Now when I try to reconnect the sensor, a message keeps appearing saying “The app had trouble connecting to the nest service. Try again”. It will no longer recognize or connect for that matter, the sensor.
After several attempts, the nest app just randomly signs me out. That is very annoying! Any suggestions to these problems?

Nothing has changed. I’ve tried everything mentioned numerous times and it still will not connect to my thermostat. It is now connected to my app, but still not my thermostat. It is an expensive paperweight. Really makes me not want another one.

I'm having the same issues and have run through those same steps. I've tried standing right beside my thermostat and it will connect to my phone but not the thermostat.
