Fan won't turn off, all wiring is set correctly, fan set to auto

I have the basic Google Nest, running low voltage 18/5 color coded/matched wires from furnace to thermostat,  R, C, Y (Y/Y2 on furnace), G, W, reading as 'connected' on nest, matched 1 to 1 with labeling on furnace. No *OB on furnace, *OB 'empty' on Nest. The Fan is not set to 'run daily.' Set to automatically run when heat or AC is on. Thanks. G wire is connected, 1 to 1

Hey jim716,

I am sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. I wanted to follow up, and see if I could be of any help. There is a chance that your thermostat isn't getting enough power, and that may be the cause of the issue. Do you mind me asking if you are able to connect a C wire or Nest Power Connector to your system? You can also try turning the power off to the device, then turning it back on to see if that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions, as I would be happy to take a closer look.

Best regards,

Jake
