Google Nest Temperature Sensor

Let me see if I have this correct. After basically being forced to migrate my nest account to Google home to set up my thermostat in my new home I am now unable to set up my Google Nest Temperature Sensor in the Google home app because it is not compatible?  I can only find older threads regarding this issue. Please tell me someone has figured out how to get a Google product to work in a Google app.

Nest Temperature Sensor hasn't been migrated to the Home app. You'll need to use the Nest app to set it up.

@Astrosfan1, we'd love to take a look at this for you. The Nest Temperature Sensor is only compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat and the Nest Thermostat E, and it can only be used within the Nest app as well. But we're looking for ways to improve the integration of the Nest Temperature Sensor into the Google Home app, so please let our product team know about it through feedback.
