Trying to figure out the best way to get my Google Nest Thermostat (G4CVZ) to work with Google Nest Power Connector (GVN24). I found a few videos that show how to wire up the heater side but don't mention anything about the thermostat side. I have 4 wires running from my thermostat to my heater/cooler, unfortunately I can't run a 5th wire. I bought this power connector since I don't have the ability to run a C wire. My previous thermostat was wired up with the following config G (green wire), Y (blue wire) W (white wire) RH (red wire) RC (jumper ran from my RH to RC) my (White - Rodgers model #50A############) heater / cooler which has the following terminations capabilities Y, W, R, G, C. Any ideas? The Google Nest has the following terminations Y, C, W, G, R, QB. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Post a picture of your original thermostat's wiring.

Thank you for posting the picture.
Installing the Google Nest Power Connector is straightforward with your system.
You can follow this Google Nest Help article to do the installation and the "How to install the Nest Power Connector video will help you.

I am sorry Patrick your response doesn't help me much, that is why I am here. That video does not mention anything about wiring the actual thermostat, it just goes over the heater / cooling unit side.

Hi there hokeyplayer,
Thanks for being here at the Google Nest Community Forum.
@Patrick_Caezza, thanks for helping us.
In addition to what Patrick_Caezza has mentioned, we also need to check if there's a common wire or a C terminal available from the main terminal block. If there's no common wire or common (C) terminal from the main control board, we'll need to have a technician to install it for you.
The Nest Power Connector is a solution to have a common wire without actually running a new wire.
Take a look at this video to know more.
Hope it helps.
Best,
Ryan

Not sure if you read my original post fully where I mentioned I have a C terminal on my heater / cooler. I also watched that video you sent, like the others he does not show what wires are connected to what on the thermostat side.

Give this wiring diagram a try.

Patrick that is what is in the video & manual, again it is missing what wire goes where on the thermostat side. I %110 fully understand how to connect everything on the heater/cooler side, I am looking for a diagram on connecting the thermostat.
