HeatLink (Nest E) 3 wires

Arno

Good evening,

The only Nest E i installed so far replaced a 2 wire thermostat and it was the same model as on Google tutorial video so it was very easy.

I now have to install another one to replace a classic - no-progam thermostat with 3 wires labels 1, 2 and 3. As per picture below.

Is this compatible with Nest E ?

Thanks in advance fir any feedback

That Danfoss RMT230 thermostat looks like a 110 volt or 230 volt ac thermostat, Nest thermostats control 24 volt ac devices. So, no it's not compatible.

I just found that webpage :

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9247634?hl=en-GB

They say i should use cables 1 & 2 from the Danfoss rmt 230 on the « C » and « NO » on the Nest E Heatlink …

I misread your original post. The link looks correct for when using a heatlink.
