Looking for an answer on how to lock a set temperature range on my nest thermostats. I have just the regular thermostats (not the Nest E, or learning stats). I can set a temp range on the Google Home App and set a schedule, but I want to prevent tenants from going and manually adjusting the temperature to either really cold or hot.

When you are a lock pin on the Nest Thermostat, you will get the opportunity to set a temperature range for the current system mode. So if in Cooling Mode, you can set a 4-degree range. Just choose LOCK, choose a 4-digit PIN, enter it twice, then set the temperature range.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.
I appreciate your input here, @CoolingWizard.
Enabling temperature lock for the Nest Thermostat is only available for the Nest Learning Thermostat and the Nest Thermostat E. The Nest Thermostat 2020 doesn't have this feature to be set. So please let our product team know about this by sending feedback, as we're really working to bring more features to the Google Nest Thermostat to make it work flawlessly. Thank you for your insight, MD1015.
If there’s anything else I can help you with, please let me know. Otherwise, we'll lock down this thread for 24 hours.
Best,
Mark
