We are moving and leaving the nest behind. I have read how to disconnect the account as well as resetting the device. Will there be any issues with the unit operating without wifi once we have removed it from our account?

No you should be able to operate fine. Good luck.

There is no reason to perform a factory reset when you leave. Just perform “remove device” app you used. The system will remain fully configured so as to operate the equipment. If you perform a reset, you will loose the equipment configuration.
