I’m moving homes, have a Nest Learning Thermostat and 6 sensors at the old place, and am planning on getting a Nest Learning Thermostat for the new place. I’d like to bring the sensors with me to the new place but can’t find any information on reconnecting them with a new Nest Thermostat.
Does anyone know if this is possible? I’d so, how?

Hi VmcOak,
Thanks for reaching out. You can either remove the Nest Sensor from your account to set it up on a different Nest Thermostat or you can just change which thermostat it reports to.
You can click on this link to learn more about this.
Thanks,
Edward

Thank you, Edward and Melba. We’re waiting on install to try this but will respond once we get the new thermostat installed and the sensors added.
Thank you again!

Hi Melba,
The install is more complicated than I had hoped and we haven’t been able to add the thermostat and then transfer the sensors. We’re waiting for our HVAC guy to schedule us.

Hi Melba,
I'm still waiting on the install--there are some supply issues with the heat pump we ordered. Feel free to close this out if needed.
Cheers!
