Hi

i have had my boiler for about 18 months and the heat link has decided to stop working!

there are no lights on it at all and it won’t connect to my nest thermostat.

I still have hot water but I can’t turn on my heating?

I have tried all of the suggested troubleshooting and found other suggestions on other threads but nothing works.

please help!

Thanks

What did Nest say when you contacted them?

H71 I expect?

I have emailed them and they are yet to reply! So I decided to try and get an answer on here?

It seems like the majority of people have heat links that just stop working? It doesn’t fill me with confidence that I have to now use this product going forward!

no customer service response and a control for my heating that is unreliable and needs to be replaced after 18 months

I will ask you like I do others, The button on the Heat Link, I expect it has the words Nest on it? The update version, has no words, that's the one you want.

The reason I asked what they had said to you, I just knew you had not spoken to anyone. Posting on here just wastes your time, and you now have another 2-3 days before you receive your replacement if you ring them today.

I can tell you now e-mailing them is a complete waste of your time. Ring them!!!

Customer service on here, that's a joke. Again how long have you been waiting? Ring them!!

This Heat Link problem is a very common problem, and they know it. I have lost count of the faulty Heat Links I have come accross.

I hope you get where I am coming from, but tell you what - Ring Them!!!

Hi

I have tried to find a contact number for them that I can call in the UK but all I can find is a Canadian number or an online chat which with the hours I work I am never able to get in contact with them as they are not available 24 hours a day!

where do I find a uk number I can call that I can actually speak to another human being?

I know, it must be very difficult to find the UK number while searching in the UK!!

I typed this in the search bar!!

google nest contact number

Totally amazing really!

Hello everyone,

I'll do my best to get this resolved for you. Here are some helpful troubleshooting steps:

Press the button on the Heat Link and check if you have any lights on it
Check if the circuit breakers and the switches are set to on
Turn them off and then back on
Press on the button again and check for LEDs

Could you also help me with some answers to these questions?

How long has your thermostat been installed for?
Did the issue happen during the installation?
Is there any error on the Nest thermostat display?
Have you had any power cuts recently?
Have you had any work done on your electrical or heating systems recently?
If yes, was the power properly restored at the fuse board after work was done?
How many zones are present in the setup?

You can also ring us at 0808 169 2307.

Regards,
Cristian
