Received a Nest E thermostat and had it professionally installed.
It has disconnected from the app and shows “offline” EVERY SINGLE DAY SINCE IVE INSTALLED IT.
All known troubleshooting has been tried.
Is this a defective item, and have others had this problem? Absolutely ridiculous for a $300 system to be this problematic

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.
I'd like to jump in here and check a couple of things for us to further isolate the issue. Do you have a dual band Wi-Fi router that has 2 different Wi-Fi network names? Do you have a common wire (C wire) connected to your thermostat? How far is your thermostat from the Wi-Fi router?
