Hi, we’ve changed our WiFi so I went on the Nest app & updated the WiFi. The app then told me to connect to the Heat Link. I followed the instructions onscreen, but when I pressed the Heat Link button to wake it up, it was green for a couple of seconds then nothing. Again, following the instructions I held the button down, after 15 seconds it finally went blue, but only for a few seconds. After trying countless times & Googling, I did a factory reset on the thermostat, it then got stuck on a screen with a house & arrow, so I then ended up having to remove it from the Nest app and start the process from scratch. All fine until I try to connect the thermostat to the Heat Link, as there is zero blue light, apart for the couple of seconds after holding down the button for 15 seconds. I am at my wits end and have no idea what to do, we now have no heating, please help.

I have talked about reset for the Heat Link many many times on here, search the forum you will find a detailed method. Meanwhile ignore 15 seconds, and reset the Heat Link for 35/45+ seconds, and keep pressed over that time. Do not release the button even if you see a blue flashing light, keep it pressed for the full 35/45+ seconds. When pulsing after that time then release. Do that TWICE!! The detailed answer can be found on this forum.
One other thing, have you replaced either the Heat Link or Display at any time?

Thank you so much for replying, this worked! And no, we haven’t replaced either, we’ve had both since late 2022.
