Nest Thermostat says it is "connected".
Router says nest Thermostat is "Inactive" , and this brings Nest Thermostat being OFFLINE.
I have tried disabling 5g on router and reset nest so it is forced to connect to 2.4. But later it reconnects to 5.g
I really do not want to restart my Nest Thermostat everyday so I can use my Iphone and google home software to connect.
I wish there was a setting on a router to block NEST to connect at 5g. or Disable 5g connectivity of Nest.
any advise ?

This sounds like it could maybe be a router problem and solution rather than a Nest Thermostat problem/solution? A few things to try:
Here is some additional reading that may help
Recommended Wi-Fi network and router settings (note: this is not just for thermostats, but may help)

I would think the easiest way is to call 5g on your router as one name, then 2.4g as another name.

Thank you all -
I did set 2 separate WIFI 2.4 and 5. I did try this earlier but there were some issues with some of the items. I was able to solve all the problem after changing WIFI names.

Hey folkst,
Thanks for being here at the Google Nest Community.
It's great to hear that @vdit issues has been resolved by renaming his WiFi network names. I hope it runs smoothly now and if you have any other concern, please let us know here in the community by creating a new thread as this will be locked now.
Thanks to @sporfrog and @Frustratedddd for all your help.
Best regards,
Ryan
