Nest says Delayed

Nest displays “delayed”

Thermostat is wired with 4 wires

I am having the exact same problem, it just started yesterday. I get the delay message whether trying to cool OR heat.

This happened twice already 

AC unit checked by a technician and found in good working condition.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that your having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this. To isolate the issue, could you check the power readings of your Nest Thermostat? You could find this information by going to Settings > Technical Info > Power. Also, if you haven't yet, you could check this link for some troubleshooting steps you could try.

One thermostat reads 3.85 volts the second reads 3.91 volts.

this issue happened two times last week when the outside temperature reached above 104 degrees.

Where do I find the VOC , VIN and IIN ?

Both thermostats been working fine, I checked all the wires and they are good.

 I fiddled with temperature limits such as the eco setting.
