Sorry to hear about your Nest thermostat as well as for the delayed response. I want to take a closer look at this. 

A few questions — what specific Nest thermostat is this? Have you tried restarting it if the code disappears and connects to your WiFi network? If yes but to no avail, what country are you in? Also, when and where was this bought?
