My Nest thermostats did not give heat after power outage. I could still adjust temperature in the app, however the furnace did not respond. After turning off the power for furnace and then turned it on, it went back to normal.
Anyone knows what is the reason and how to fix the issue?

That sounds like when your power went out it knocked your furnace offline, it can happen, and you did the right thing by power cycling the furnace.

thanks for the reply. Do you know if this issue can be fixed? e.g. software updates?
