Nest thermostats frequently disconnecting from google home app

My google nest thermostat is getting disconnected from google home app frequently once set in. Manually I can control and battery is good. Any suggestions? Can someone tell me why is this happening and how to correct it ?

A few questions: what Nest Thermostat do you have? Is the app showing your Nest Thermostat offline? Has there been any recent change in your home Wi-Fi network? How far is your thermostat from your router?
 

Give these steps a try:

1. Make sure your Nest Thermostat is connected to wifi.
2. Power cycle the Nest device.
