No power to Nest for installation

rtrostrekich

Hello,

I have used Nest before, then went back to another basic thermostat thinking it was the problem. My father-in-law found a wiring prob at the furnace part of things. I am now going back to the Nest and have all connected but no Power- trying not to bother my father-in-law on things. Could my wiring need to be changed? the only wire that was wonky was the Blue now goes to yellow Nest per instructions. I'm not sure what happened with wiring in furnace. What to do?

Thank you!

Roy

Hi rtrostrekich,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with reinstalling your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this. Could you share a photo of how your previous thermostat is wired? Also, please make sure that the breakers are turned on for your HVAC.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward
