No power to heat link

No power to heat link. H72 error on thermostat. Have tried turning power off to heat link then back on after 10 minutes. No response to holding down the button. No power to unit. Installed March 2019. The unit is powered by the same supply as the boiler, which has power. Suspect unit has failed. No ability to turn in heating.

Customer services recorded message advises to call back during business hours but not when business hours are. I live in UK.

Please advise.

Hello @CristianC @yes thank you. The Facebook messenger team helped me get a replacement, which arrived today. I’ve had it installed and my heating is back on.

I’m having same issue this morning mate. Just died last night. No power coming out of heat link to power up my stat but have power to the heat link.

How can we get help? I’m at a loss here.

I was going to ask you the same question. I’ve filled out this form I’ve seen on other people’s questions regarding this. Seems like a common thing. https://bit.ly/3oVDg4g

Have you got the problem sorted about the dead heat link yet?

As it’s a Sunday not sure we’ll get much response today. I’m hoping for some answers tomorrow. Are you left completely without hot water and heating?

I cannot believe the amount of people on this forum asking the same question.

Try looking at other peoples posts, and that will give you several ideas. Why you would waste your time on here and Facebook for heavens sake, when you can pick the phone up and speak to someone?

Meanwhile you are waiting for someone to get back to you.

The Nest helpline is open on a Sunday, and Mon-Fri 8-9pm Sat 8-4pm try it.

Hi mate, you got a number for nest to call?

This is a classic situation of just waiting for a simple answer to a question, without searching similar posts.

Yes I have got a number, but the time you have wasted on here, when all you have to do is this.....

Search in your browser... Google Nest Contact Number

You could have done that yesterday instead of wasting your time on this pointless forum. Just look at the amount of response you have received from ALL the Google Nest staff, nothing!! Not one single Google person has responded to either of you, meanwhile your heating has failed and you are probably cold.

Google, for heavens sake just put in BIG letters a message on the main page saying ''UK Ring Here'' - ''USA Ring Here''. I will help you a little Google, and suggest you will have to remove the ''Ring Here'' for a number!!!!!!!

Does this mean your not going to give me the number?

What do you mean remove ring here I’m confused

Id love you meet you on a night out. Absolutely no reason for you to be rude. I’d say you’re more of a dickhead on your computer replying to other people posts.

The reason I put things blunt is for people to wake up. You have sat there waiting for an answer where you could have rang them the same day. Take a few minutes looking on this forum about exactly the same problem you have, it's the same question every time. have  Google helped them? No!

By the way, think about it, who didn't search for a number, that may reflect the correct fool?

I’ve been talking to a nest rep on Facebook messenger. I’ve filled a couple of forms in and someone is calling/emailing me back. Sounds positive but I’ll let you know the outcome.

Any luck yet mate? Has anyone got a number of way of contacting them?

0808 169 2307 for google nest support. I have a case in progress and will be issued with a new heat link.
Facebook messenger was where I started but just spoke to customer service to confirm everything is in progress - very helpful.

Also, don’t feed the trolls! Keep being kind to people.

Agreed, talk to them you have received a quicker response. That is my point, talk, don't waste your time on here.

You have just stated you started with Facebook, now you have phoned, exactly my point.

Troll, Joke!

You may like to look at this post, and your problem would have been sorted!

Hi all, as the situation is now resolved, I'm going to lock this thread, but if anything else comes up, don't hesitate to reach out.

@Danh1987 I got a call back this evening from the senior next rep. Replacement heat link is on its way and I need to return the old one - all free of charge. I need to get a temporary thermostat fitted and then get someone to change the old for the new when it arrives. Nest will cover costs of this up to a limit.

Good outcome.
