Keeps going offline about once a week

I am curious too. Mine has been bouncing between offline, not enough power and RC wire error. Getting really frustrated.

I had this issue too. Found that the nest was not getting enough power. If the power wire is not providing enough power you may have to use the common wire.

Not too expensive to get the connector,

Hi folks,
I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
@Ashepherdson and @Joew555, thanks for your assistance. That actually helps.
@Rustydapoolman1 and @Tarasbelle, one possible effect when the Nest thermostat doesn't receive enough power is that it disables smart features, including the Wi-Fi network, in order to save the battery. To avoid this issue installing a C wire or Nest Power Connector would help to deliver constant power.
To isolate: what type of Nest thermostats do you have? Here's our reference to tell. Does your thermostat show any wire reports or message codes? Also, tell us the power status of your thermostats under technical info in the settings.
I'm looking forward to your responses.
Best regards,
Mark
