I only have R and C wires attached to my old thermostat. There are other wires, but they are not attached to anything. Will Nest work??
Thanks,

Hi nmonnin,
Thanks for reaching out. It's possible that your current thermostat is using a proprietary system. Could you share how your current thermostat is wired? Also, please let us know the make and model of your current thermostat so we could investigate further.
Thanks,
Edward

Any ideas?

Hi nmonnin,
Thanks for the response. That's an unusual wiring. If possible, please check the control board of your HVAC system so we could see where the other end of your wires are connected to.
Thanks,
Edward
