Phone number changed and get receive log in code

I have forgotten password… and my cell number has changed since creating my profile hence I cannot receive the log in code??

@Fischeb , the nest thermostat is not registered to a phone number, it is registered to a Nest user ID. You can log into the Nest website and recover your password through your email account registered to your account.

Hi Fischeb,

 

Thanks for reaching out to us. You can ask your carrier to transfer your phone number to a new phone or SIM card. In that way, you can proceed with resetting your password, and the 2-Step Verification Code will be sent to your new SIM card or phone.
