I have a 2nd generation Nest thermostat but have not received the expected discount code for a 4th generation model. How can I get this code?

Same issue.  I have not seen an email either.  Getting pretty close to the date of it not working in the app.

I have two Gen 1 thermostats, the Google Store Support group for some reason says I don’t qualify for,the upgrade promotion……with no reason as to what DOES qualify a person for the upgrade.

I will probably not get Nest because of this and will find something else.

I have been expecting one also by now, sorry to hear you haven't but glad to know it seems nobody has

Getting updates and support as smooth as slot Khelo would make this much easier.

Hi there,

Thank you for posting here in the community. I understand you have Nest Learning Thermostats (1st and 2nd gen) that will no longer work or connect in the Nest or Google Home apps due to the Upcoming end of support for Nest Learning Thermostats (1st and 2nd gen). I also understand that you did not receive the promotional link for a Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen)I'm happy to assist you.

Could you please confirm if your thermostats are still associated with your accounts and if you can still control them through the Nest or Google Home app?

In case you were unable to locate the promo code, could you please check your spam or junk folders? The emails are occasionally filtered there.

Please make sure you're also looking in the email account you have associated with your Nest thermostats.

Keep me posted.

Regards,

Anders

I have the 2nd Generation thermostat and use the Nest app. I do not have the Google Home app on any device. I have not been able to locate any discount code.

I agree that unless these issues are quickly resolved, Google's history of "leaving users lost unless you pay up" is a good reason to find another smart home solution altogether.

I have 4 nest thermostats, and was only allowed to buy 2 new ones with the link from the email.  If I cannot replace all 4, I'll return the two I just ordered and go a different direction.  This is ridiculous - you're stopping support but not enabling current customers to upgrade all their thermostats?!?

I currently use a first and a second generation thermostat at my home.  I have not received my upgrade promo codes.  Can you please help me?  Who would the email have been from?  I receive so many I need to know who the sender is to search for it.

I have the same issue. I have a second-generation NEST and was unable to receive a discount code via email—also, no phone number is available for NEST.

That sounds frustrating snaptroid v2.0 — if you haven’t received your discount code yet, I’d suggest checking your email’s spam folder first, and if it’s not there, reach out directly to Nest/Google support so they can resend or verify your eligibility. tera file share downloader

After multiple form response emails from the Google store support team I took the nuclear option. I emailed Sundar the CEO, less than 24 hours later I had an email from executive relations who apologized profusely and provided me with a promo code.

Can u share the email of ceo, I feel all this keeps giving me the round and round: thanks

I have the same issue. Need the code because my customized link email from Google was deleted from junk file!

same issue for me as well.   Email to customer support also unanswered.   And… a pop up as I write this asking me to rate my experience pours more vinegar in the wound.    Our customer relations with the sw company I worked for for over 30 years were a precious commodity not demonstrated by all these complaints and lack of CS responses
