I need some help to remove a temperature sensor from my old Nest account. I just migrated to the Google.com account and had to add all my existing thermostats and Protects. When I tried to add the temp sensor, the app says it is still associated with the old Nest account. I already tried removing the battery to reset the sensor.

You need to leave the battery out for at least 48 hours. After that time it should let you set it up again.
