I’ve had 3 nest thermostats in my home all connected to my Google home app no problem. The upstairs one was offline so I went through troubleshooting and removed it from the app. Unfortunately everything I’ve tried to add it back has failed. It says it’s connected to Wi-Fi and connection is good. I have tried adding using existing works with Google option but nest doesn’t appear in the list. I’ve tried adding new device and using the already installed option. I enter code (have also tried QR code) and it just doesn’t seem to find anything - it looks then just comes up with nothing. Need to get this back on…

In case anyone else has this issue, I called support - with the nest 2020 thermostat only way to add it back to app is doing factory reset. Be sure to take note of wiring in the equipment section before doing the reset
