Setting up new device can’t get it on WiFi or on app

Installed nest device and can not get it set up on the WiFi or app.

Is it asking you to connect to a wifi network but failing during the process? Either before you have finished inputting the password or while connecting after password is input?

@Ryanlang, I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on. A few questions: 

 

  • What type of Nest Thermostats you're trying to add?
  • During setup, are you receiving any message codes or reports?
  • What steps have you done so far?
