Have a new furnace and it doesn't seem to be fully heating the house. Had this furnace installed last winter and I don't remember having this issue and to my knowledge none of the wires have been moved so I don't know why it seems like there's issues this year. The thermostat seems to be on heat stage 2 most of the time. I have googled around but haven't found an answer I believe fits. Figured I'd ask on here. If you need anymore information please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Stangsp,

Thanks for posting your thermostat's wiring configuration. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.

Based on your panels' wiring diagram, it appears that wires from 2 terminals have been interchanged at your thermostat. Swap the wires between the C terminal and the W2/Aux terminals, and restart your thermostat after the changes.

Please note that you should turn off the power from your HVAC system at the breaker box before touching the wires and let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Mark

Hi there,

I'm checking back in. Were you able to do the steps above? I'd be glad to hear from you — I'd like to make sure everything is working.

Thanks,

Mark
