Thermostat On Wi-Fi but can’t add to Nest acct

Had thermostat connected to account. I removed it to resolve an issue with my new google nest doorbell wired. Now when I try to reconnect it, it tries to find the doorbell to assist in the setup and fails to find it. Is there a way to bypass the assistance and add the product manually?
