Thermostat Support?

TPM01

While attempting to connect a Learning Thermostat to my existing Nest thermostat account, connection failed. I attempted to contact the Nest hotline. for assistance. My phone inquiry required that I connect to g.co.verify to verify my account. After multiple attempts, the g.co/verify continuously connected me to the wrong account despite verifying verbally that it would connect me to the correct account. As a result I am unable to get help, and my thermostat is now off in WiFi never-never land. How do I get past this helpline log in failure?

You can also call Google customer support number 1-866-2-Google (1-866-246-6453) or 1-888-570-1575 and directly connect the customer service team at Google.

If this was at the entry code point I found the only way to connect was skip scanning the qr - otherwise it kept saying the entry code was wrong. Sorry if I’ve misinterpreted and this isn’t what you’re having an issue with

Thanks for your comment. I got past the QR code entry to the point where Nest was trying to add the thermostat to my home group of thermostats. After watching the image show an expanding thermostat image attempting to link, I received a message with the code TQ1. After that, my attempt to contact Nest Helpline failed to connect because the account verification process supported at "c.co/verify" connected me to my business account instead of my home account. My thermostats are associated with my home account, not my business account.

Hi folks,

@Jessy_HB, thanks for the help!

@TPM01, thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with setting up your Nest Thermostat and contacting our support team. Just to isolate the issue, could you try tapping the account on the top right of your Google Home app and make sure that the account that is selected is not your business account?

Thanks,

Edward
