I have our schedule on our thermostat set up to be cooler while we sleep but the temp keeps going up to 75 at night by itself and no one in my house can sleep. Please help

@Mshack ,

You only posted the Thursday schedule, so you only have this problem on Thursdays? Have you verified that this problem happens every night? When the system is set to 71 during the day, does hold it?

This does happen every night. It holds to 73 during the day.

@Mshack ,

in that case does it hold 71 in the evening?

Yes, it does start cooling in the evening. I read somewhere to use a "custom" setting instead of eco for the day time so I changed that. Hopefully that helps!

Yes indeed, the ECO schedule is primarily the “away” part of Home and Away.

I think it just has a hard time switching off of "eco" sometimes so hopefully that helps!

Thank you

Hi folks,

@Mshack, alright! I want to check and see if you are still in need of any help. How is your Nest Thermostat 2020 doing right now after switching off Eco temperatures? Please let us know if you still have questions or concerns, as we'll be willing to assist you more.

I appreciate your help, @CoolingWizard

Best,

Zoe

Well switching it off Eco did not work, just woke up at 2:30 am with it in eco mode SOMEHOW and at 73 degrees

@Mshack ,

on your Nest App, open the app, tap the gear in upper right, go down to Home/Away assist, then to “what decides if you’re home, and turn them both to “no”
