Thermostat won’t connect to app or Wi-Fi

Thermostat won’t connect to app or Wi-Fi. I’ve been through the entire troubleshooter 5+ times. Turned off all other Bluetooth and wireless devices. Reset the router. Reset the thermostat. After resetting the thermostat I can’t even add it back to the app. Thermostat won’t recognize any Wi-Fi networks, even with the router less than 5 feet away. I haven’t even had it for 3 years and I am so frustrated, I am almost ready to say screw it and go buy a new thermostat from different manufacturer.

Hello LL3,

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you, and I appreciate that you've tried to find a fix.

To isolate: are you getting any message code under the network settings? Could you check the battery level status on your thermostat under the technical information settings? Also, please give these steps a whirl:

  1. On your thermostat. Go to Settings > Reset > Account Connection > Reset.
  2. Turn on your phone's personal hotspot.
  3. Try searching for available networks again on your thermostat.
