This is a photo of my wiring. Is it compatible with my new Nest thermostat?

I have a green  wire  connected to  G

i have a blue wire connected to  Y

I have White wire connected to W

I have a red wire connected to an unlabeled screw

Interesting that they have the red wire connected where it is.

Just connect the Nest wire for wire and put the Red wire in the R terminal.

Thanks . The red wire in the R terminal  worked. I think it was the power wire.
