Two thermostats

I have two thermostats one for gas heat, one for central air. I wanted to run them together on nest. Here are the pictures of wires. First one is AC, second is heater. Any help on wiring this up would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rbeckett76,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

I am sorry that it took a while for us to reply to your post. The first photo should be connected as follows:

  • Connect the red wire to the Rc terminal on Nest Thermostat
  • Connect the white wire to the Y terminal (I assume that the label from the old thermostat is Y)

For the second photo, though it doesn't show the wire labels, the red wire must be for power and it should be connected to the Rh terminal and the white wire will be on the W terminal on your Nest Thermostat.

Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.

Regards,

Ryan
