Wi-Fi switched off while in holiday

I recently got a nest thermostats fitted and had water heating working a schedule, 2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the evening, connected with a heat link.

recently while going on holiday for a week, I switched off my Wi-Fi 😬

I wanted to know that with the Wi-Fi switched off, the nest device cannot connect to the heat link, so would the heating still work to a schedule or would it just stay on all the time?

thank you

Hi there @ATew,

The thermostat is not connected to the Heat Link via WiFi, it's connected to the Heat Link via the Nest Weave, a Bluetooth like close connection protocol. There's no need for the internet. If the thermostat has a schedule set from the display itself, it will work without WiFi.
