thermostat wont charge

My thermostat lost power then lost the Wi fi connection. I attempted to charge it with multiple cords, but it does not seem to charge. Is It defective? It's only 1 year old, Thanks!

Which Nest Thermostat do you have?

Do you have a C wire installed?

• I think so. It won't charge through the port in the back. It charges, then dies.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

Could you share a photo of your current wiring setup? That way, we could check if you have a common (C) wire connected.

It appears the internal battery won't hold a charge. Google is  replacing it Nest 3
