Hi!
I currently have a Google Wifi point connected to my router. The Google Wifi point was a present from my brother in Singapore. I live in Denmark. Now, I want to add another point as there are deadspots on the other end of my apartment from where the current Google Wifi is.
What can I use as an extender? Can I buy another Google Wifi point or another Google Nest Wifi?
I use the Google Home app for controlling the current point.
Thanks!

Hello @tsinkoy
You may be able to buy another Google WiFi unit or a Nest WiFi Point. However, the fact that your current Google WiFi was originally manufactured for use in Singapore means it may not allow an EU Google WiFi or Nest WiFi Point to be added as a secondary. If you buy an EU Google WiFi or Nest WiFi Point, keep the receipt and original packaging so you can return it if it complains about a country or region mismatch during setup.
All of that said, the usual advice applies for placement of primary and secondary units: the primary should be as close to the center of the home as possible with secondary units one or two rooms away from the primary where they will provide coverage to more distant WiFi clients. If you add a secondary and place it right in the middle of an area that can't get solid coverage now, it won't help (and might even hurt for somewhat esoteric reasons). Place it closer to the primary instead.

Thanks!
Yeah, I read about the incompatibility of units coming from different regions. I am hoping that will not be the case.
As for the location, I cannot move the location of the primary unit and router. I will try and see if my set up works!
