Hey guys, looking for some help to set up the wifi!
I moved house, and following the set up guide from Google, factory reset my router and points; started a new home with the new address and begun set up. I now get stuck on the WAN settings page; choose DHCP as recommended by my internet provider, it loads sweet f*** all, gives the dreaded bunch of falling blocks - goes back to the WAN settings page then a pop up saying ‘Configuring your WAN settings timed out’
my internet provider says we need might need a modem, but at our previous house we connected directly the NBN box (FTTP) with our nest router with no issues. We have NBN FTTP at this new location with an IDENTICAL nbn box in the garage.
Now I’ve looked alllll over this forum, called my internet provider, reset the routers, redownloaded the app, new accounts on Google. Nothing has worked.
SOS help because no Disney CARS or ms Rachel when trying to set up a new house with a 2 year old is simply torture at its finest.

No dice no luck - the only router I have in my possession is the Google router directly to the NBN box - no other router provided or required in the past - and it should work directly with the nbn box

I should also add that our best router feels very hot - it’s about a year and a half old is this normal?

Who is your internet service provider? Have they confirmed what WAN connection method to use and that your connection is compatible to directly connect to Nest WIfi?
