Migrate from On Hub to Nest Wifi

Hi,

I received the notice about On Hub no longer being supported after this year, so I bought a Google Nest WiFi router.

I'm wondering, does migrating mean I will have to setup all of my existing smart home devices again? Is there a way to simply replace the On Hub with the new Nest Router and keep the existing settings?

Hello @Pk9baseball

You will need to set the new Nest WiFi system up from scratch. However, if you use the same network name and shared password, all of your existing devices should reconnect without needing to be reconfigured. So, before taking down the old system, take note of any specific settings you want to preserve (like the network name and password, but also any IP address reservations and port forwarding you want to recreate).
