Port forwarding how do I enter the ports and save the rule

Put in the ports to forward for the connected device but I can’t save the rule

Hi, Vincent Nee.

Sorry for the issues you're having with the port forwarding function. I'm sure it's quite frustrating to deal with that. There is a known issue right now in the Home app that is preventing some users from properly using the full port forwarding functions, but there are some things you can do to try and sort it out.

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the Home app installed
  • Perform a power cycle of your WiFi network (router and points)
  • Factory reset and set up your WiFi network (always try this last as it will clear any other saved settings as well)

The biggest thing you can do is to ensure that you have the latest app version. Start there and see if that might be the issue. If you are still having problems, please come back and let me know and we can continue to look at this. Thanks.
