Has something changed about Google Safesearch? Sometime in the past few weeks, it seems to have stopped working and now adult sites can be reached on devices that have been set to Safesearch family groups on my Nest wifi network. How can I get it to work again? I've tried resetting the network, deleting the family group and recreating it, and restarting the devices in the family group. I have also verified that Safesearch is ON but the devices are still able to access sites that they were (appropriately) restricted from a few weeks ago.

I don't know of any specific changes that have been made recently that would have affected the filtering. No filtering is 100% accurate but if they were blocked before then it could be that something changed with their site that is causing the filter not to block it.
Here's an article that may help:

I'd look for other tools, like controlling the devices:
• Apple screen time: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/ipad/ipadb15cb886/ipados
• Google Family Link: https://families.google.com/familylink
• Microsoft Family Safety: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/family-safety
And/ or DNS:
