Setting up philo for tv use only

I just started looking into Philo and thought it would be great to kick cable to the curb. Any place here that can help me with what type of equipment is needed to just use tv?

I also not sure what my smart TV has in it and Google wifi is only on my phone for Android, which my phone is and

Do you have Wifi in your home? Not hot spot from phone but from someone else (Verizon, Comcast, Spectrum...).
