issues setting up 2nd wifi point.

I had no issues setting up the first point with the ethernet cable connecting it to the modem.  When I go through the setup for the 2nd point it gets to the step where it asks if you want to connect to a network and instead of connecting to the network I set up it tries connecting to the default network listed on the bottom of that wifi point.  That network has no connection so it obviously fails.  How do I correct the issue and have it try to connect to the network I set up on the first wifi point?

Make sure you have no VPN enabled/ connected, not any 3rd party product, nor the "Apple iCloud Private Relay".

Make sure the Google Home app has permissions to "local network access".

Then, it should work. If not, try the Google Home app from a different Android or iOS device, using the same Google account.
