Issues adding guest passcodes

For about a month, when I add guest passcodes into the Nest App (on iOS), it only works about 50% of the time. The app says it's successful and setup, but when the guest enters the code, it doesn't allow access. Sometimes deleting the guest and re-entering the same information works - sometimes it doesn't.

I spoke to Nest support today, and they said it's an issue specifically with iOS and to use the website instead. I know there were issues several months ago with the iOS app (to my rememberance, it was specifically that you couldn't set start times or expirations) and so at that time I was using the website to add guests. Once those issues were fixed, I went back to using the app. However, today (following the advice of Support) when I went onto the website, I can no longer add a guest with Home Entry Only - only Full Access, which I do not want to do. (I run a vacation rental, so I use these codes all the time.)

Anyone having the same or similar issue? Any fixes or updates? At this point I can't be guaranteed that whatever guest codes I put into the app actually work, and I can't add any on the website.  Thanks for any thoughts!
