How can I install Nest x Yale on a 3” Thick Door?

Hi there,
 

Thanks for sharing the photo with us. Your door is too thick to install your Nest x Yale Lock. Your door’s thickness should be one of the following:

• 1 ⅜ inches
• 1 ¾ inches
• 2 to 2 ¼ inches

The lock hole center is either 2 ⅜ or 2 ¾ inches from the edge of the door.
 

You may contact our installation partner, OnTech, to help you check your system’s compatibility, install, and set up your Nest products.
