Nest connect will not connect to WiFi - I’ve tried to the reset method - I’ve tried the move to different location - I’ve followed all instructions - I’ve tried to manually install along with scanning the QR code and nothing - it will not connect.
is it time to move on from NEST? Shouldn’t be this difficult - I have two outdoor cams, 3 indoor cams, two thermostats and four smoke detectors connected and I can’t even connect this silly connect device which makes my new Yale lock unusable through the Nest app.

Will tag onto this one as I'm having the same issues. Same circumstances and tried all the same stuff. It keeps wanting to use the nest hello doorbell as the source, but it always gives me an error. And like Jeffsc08, the cams, doorbell, thermostat, etc. are all connected, just not the nest connect.

Zoe, this is the info I get when trying to set it up again. It tries to constantly have the doorbell link it, but I don't think the doorbell is set either if that makes sense. Its on and works, but..not.
I use eero 6e pro as my wifi source. I did the pause the 5g to just have 2.4 in trying to do the setup, but it still wouldn't let me. I don't want to remove the doorbell to re-set it up because i fear it will end in the same bucket as the nest connect.

buy a brand of lock from a manufacturer that doesn’t abandon its products. That’s what I’m going to do. The nest stuff is going in the landfill.

It seems like you've exhausted the troubleshooting steps for connecting your Nest Connect to WiFi. Given your existing Nest ecosystem and the inconvenience caused by the connectivity issue, you may want to consider reaching out to Nest customer support for specialized assistance. Alternatively, you could explore other smart home ecosystems if you find that the issues persist and consider whether a different solution may better meet your needs.
