Nest x Yale missing bluetooth ??

MEH_PDX

Bought this lock (Model #RB-YRD540-WV-0BP) from Lowes. Installation went smoothly, as far as, setting up on existing WiFi connection, adding to the Nest and Home apps and applying user door codes.

Lowes description says: Google  Nest x Yale Lock Oil-Rubbed Bronze Wi-Fi Enabled Bluetooth Enabled Electronic Deadbolt Lighted Keypad Touchscreen.

But for the life of me I don't see anything in the installation guide regarding bluetooth connectivity. I was hoping that once I paired the lock to my phone that it would automatically unlock when I approached the locked door.

How do I connect to the lock via bluetooth?

Bluetooth is used during the setup process. The door won't automatically unlock when you approach it as that's not a feature of the lock I'm afraid. The help article below describes all the ways you can lock and unlock your lock.
